I know nothing about making rendang. But today, with mak giving out basic instructions on the phone, I'm gambling with these half a kilo of beef. So if it doesn't turn out edible I guess we'd just be eating vegetables for the rest of the week.
I remember this one year when mak asked me to blend the ingredients, and I did it the wrong way. They became too smooth with no hampagas2 whatsoever, so raya that year saw us eating crappy rendang. Haha!
Takpa, practise makes perfect kan. So hubby, please bear with me ya.

It looks ok kot? But taste wise, not as good as my mum's rendang. *sigh* Takpa, lepas ni cuba lagi.
