Btw, I got the recipe for this chicken beriani from 'MyResipi', but it lacks in the taste department. I love beriani with enough flavour of herbs and spices, but this wasn't. So anybody has recipe for a kickass beriani, do feel free to share with me okay.
This is one kickass kurma telur I tell you, which recipe I got from the net as well. But hubby said it's a bit too oily. Eee..banyak betul complain, masak sendiri lah.
Sambal ikan, mum's recipe which I modified a bit. I add some soy sauce for sweet-salty taste. This, he had no complain. :-p
I tried making sardine rolls baked-version. My hubby doesn't like the fried ones as they're too oily according to him.Tapi ayam goreng rendam minyak suka pulak. But these turned out a bit too over-baked, first time try tak pandai agak. Taste-wise, not bad :-p

wow, that nasi briyani looks delicious, with all the right colours and bawang goreng. tak cukup rasa takpaa.. alasannye kan puasa... hihihi... semalam aku buat resipi from internet gak... buat mee udang. so-so laa.. but too cair pulak. and mcm ada kurang something. maybe sbb aku tgk resipi skali imbas then hafal2 gitu je kot... and did you know kuah mee udang rupanya use fried/rebus blended kulit udang n kepala udang??? yes, it does! pastu aku buat begedil sardin (coz ada leftover sardin from sahur). suka hati jee makan mee udang with begedil sardin. i bet they don't sell things like that at mee udang Sg. Dua rite? and i've noticed korang minum ayaq panas guna kole stainless steel tu ek? penanggg sangaaattttt!!!

kayla : mak aih, lama tak komen sekali komen panjang lebar. hahaha...yes i heard they use kepala udang tu, tapi tak penah try, ngeri. wakakakaka...
ReplyDeleteyerp definitely nothing sardin-y to go with mee udang at sg. dua haha.. kayla, the kole or as i call it "mug besi" (much to the amusements of my parents wakakaka) were given by my MIL tapi i cannot use la utk buat air. ngilu bila kacau ngn sudu..eeeee....
