What have you in that green box?!?

Cooking for my little guy is a joyous thing for me. And it is made even more joyful whenever he appreciates what I cook for him.

The school that the lil guy goes to doesn't provide meal for tea break. Setakat biskut tu adalah but other than that every kids have to bring their own. So every day memang pecah kepala thinking what to make for him since I want varieties in his meal plan. Because knowing my boy, he would get bored with the same meals everyday and then he would start making up excuses not to eat. So it is quite a challenge to prepare meals that will suit his daily appetite and still maintain to be nutritious enough for a growing kid like him.

Regardless, it's among the thing that I look forward to every day, since he eats like there was no tomorrow at school! (Ok I admit I'm an overbearing mom who still sneaks up on his son at school :-p)

Can you imagine how happy I was when, after the first week of school ended, the little guy gained 1kg! I guess eating with friends at school helps to increase his appetite. It makes me happy seeing how he always loves and apreciates the food I packed for him and rarely let them go to waste. Even if he couldn't finish it at school,   he would wanna continue eating after he's back from school at noon.

Hopefully his appetite will continue to be like this forever and ever and everrrrrrr. Ameen!
