Kwik Cut is a 'barber' for kids, located in Tesco's building and they have really fun environment and lots of toys to distract the kids while their hair is being snipped and snipped sampai gonjeng! However, the last time we went there, Irfan only had his hair trim, and that cost his dad a freaking 12 ketoi, much to his dismay. To make it worse, no one seemed to notice that he had a haircut at all (much to his momma's approval though, as she hates short hair on him!)
So when his birthday was nearing the corner, his daddy thought that he ought to have a neater head as his hair were growing all against each other on that small head of his. After much deliberation, the daddy decided on the Mamak near PIL's place this time around, and his momma couldn't say much except for 'Saya
I simply dig this hairstyle so much, but it was too thick for him to handle already
And so the mamak began his mission in making the boy's head gonjeng. I was actually screaming in my head "Nooooo mamakkkk! Not too shorrrrrrrrt dem yewwww!" But somehow the scream didn't escape my brain, at least not until AFTER his head was gonjeng enough that he could pass as a PLKN student. Cesss! However, I'm glad Irfan didn't make it easy on him, he struggled and screamed his lung out while the anne was doing his job. That's my boy! Muackss XOXO
See, he was extremely sad to let all that hair go, they had been with him ever since he was born! Sob sob sob. My poor baby, fret not. Hair will grow back, and for your next haircut I will make sure you won't be as gonjeng as you are now.
After all was done and we got into the car, his dad couldn't rub that silly grin off his face, and he kept remarking that his son was the most handsomest son in the whole wide world, because of the haircut. Oh seriously? You think you could trick your wife into believing that? Because after more than 9 years being together, she could read you like a book already. And oh yeahhhhh, you can be deymmm sure that she knew the reason for your happiness. It was definitely because you only had to fork out RM4 for the haircut, instead of a freaking RM12! Betoi tak?
Samseng tak anak I? Hehehe...
